Leap makes the learning totally customizable. Simply tell him what your child knows -- the color red, the number two -- and he'll teach them what they still need to learn. Your child interacts with Leap to choose story outcomes and participate in Leap's adventures. The whole family can record little messages and Leap will use them as words of encouragement.

Leap doesn't just talk, either. Gentle head movements, animation and lights also bring this adorable friend to life. Hands-on games teach letters, phonics and counting. Sing-along songs like "The Alphabet Song," "Letter Conga" and "Let's Move Song" make for moving, grooving learning fun.

When your child is ready, you can expand the learning with additional Personalized Learning Kits (sold separately) that include a board book, cartridge for Leap and a special Parent Guide. And when it's quiet learning time there's even volume control.
